A) THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF EDUCATION AT BOLTON SCHOOL IN THE BOROUGH OF BOLTON AFORESAIDB) THE PROVISION PRIMARILY FOR BOYS, GIRLS AND YOUNG PEOPLE (BEING NOT MORE THAN TWENTY ONE YEARS OF AGE OR IF RECEIVING FULL-TIME INSTRUCTION AT ANY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE SCHOOL OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT BEING NOT MORE THAT TWENTY FIVE YEARS OF AGE) WHO SHALL BE OR SHALL HAVE BEEN PUPILS AT BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID BUT ALSO FOR OTHER BOYS GIRLS AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF SUCH AGE AS AFORESAID WHO SHALL BE RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF BOLTON AFORESAID OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION (BEING FACILITIES OF WHICH SUCH PERSONS HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES) IN THE INTERESTS OF THEIR SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.C) THE INITIATION AND PROSECUTION (WHETHER AT BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID OR ELSEWHERE) OF INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH INTO QUESTIONS AFFECTING THE EDUCATION OF SUCH PERSONS AS AFORESAID.D) (I) THE INSTRUCTION OF MEMBERS OF THE STAFF OF BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID AND OF OTHER PERSONS WITH A VIEW TO QUALIFYING THEM TO PROMOTE AND SUPERVISE THE FACILITIES SET FORTH IN SUB-CLAUSE (B) OF THIS CLAUSE(II) THE PROVISION OF EMOLUMENTS FOR MEMBERS OF THE STAFF OF BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL COURSES WHETHER IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ABROAD.E) THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ANY PERSONS WHO SHALL BE: -(I) PUPILS OR FORMER PUPILS OF BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID OR(II) MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE STAFF OF BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAID OR(III) WIDOWS OR DEPENDANTS OF DECEASED MEMBERS OF THE SAID STAFFAND SHALL REQUIRE SUCH ASSISTANCE BY REASON OF POVERTYF) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BURSARIES FOR PUPILS OF EITHER SEX AT BOLTON SCHOOL AFORESAIDG) ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF AN EDUCATIONAL NATURE WHICH CAN CONVENIENTLY BE PROMOTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL OR ANY OF THE PURPOSES AFORESAID.
