'3.1 THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY (THE OBJECTS) ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THEPUBLIC IN THE HISTORY, SCIENCE AND CULTURE OF BRITISH POPULAR MUSIC FROM ITSORIGINS TO THE PRESENT DAY BY THE:3.1.1 PRESENTATION OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING DISPLAYS AND EXHIBITIONS, PUBLICEVENTS AND CONCERTS;3.1.2 ACQUISITION (WHETHER ON LOAN, OR LEASE, OR BY WAY OF GIFT OR PURCHASE ORRECOVERY OR OTHERWISE), PRESERVATION, MAINTENANCE AND EXHIBITION OFANY ARTISTIC WORKS, INSTRUMENTS, PAPERS, INTERVIEWS OR ARTEFACTS; AND3.1.3 PROVISION OF RESEARCH, SOUND RECORDING, PERFORMANCE AND ARCHIVINGFACILITIES.3.2 SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THEDIRECTORS SHALL DECIDE FROM TIME TO TIME.
