• THE RELIEF OF THE PHYSICAL DISABILITY OF DEAFBLIND INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN YORKSHIRE BY A METHOD WHICH SHALL BE RECOGNISED AS CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.• PERSONS SHALL BE REGARDED AS DEAFBLIND IF THEY HAVE A SEVERE DEGREE OF COMBINED VISUAL AND AUDITORY IMPAIRMENTS RESULTING IN PROBLEMS OF COMMUNICATION, MOBILITY AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION. THE GROUP WILL INCLUDE THOSE DEAFBLIND SINCE BIRTH, EARLY CHILDHOOD AND OR THOSE WHO BECOME DEAFBLIND AS ADULTS.• THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF FAMILIES LIVING IN YORKSHIRE TO DEVELOP THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN THE AREA OF DEAFBLINDNESS.
