1 TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A MEMORIAL SCULPTURE WITHIN THE TOWN OF SOUTHAM COMMEMORATING ESPECIALLY YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO HAVE SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY WITH THE MOTIVE IN THIS WAY OF PROMOTING THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.2 TO ASSIST PERSONS WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES, AND THEIR DEPENDANTS BY ADVANCING ANY PURPOSE THAT IS CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES WHO ASSIST MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS.
