(2) THE RELIEF OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SICKNESS OF GURKHA BENEFICIARIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ABROAD RESULTING FROM: (A) INJURIES OBTAINED DURING SERVICE IN THE BRITISH ARMY; (B) INFIRMITY, DISEASE, POVERTY AND LACK OF MEANS; AND / OR (C) BEREAVEMENT, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, GOODS OR SERVICES, COUNSELLING OR SUPPORT OF SUCH PERSONS.
