Charitable objects

The Charity’s objects are to benefit the sick or disabled young people up to and including the age of 18 years living in the English counties of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and Cleveland (“the Area of Benefit”) including but not limited to:(a) Provision of funds for, or paying for, specialist equipment items for beneficiaries where they or those with responsibility for them could not otherwise afford those items and where those items are not provided by the NHS, Local Authorities or other similar public service;(b) providing recreational and leisure time activities in the interest of social welfare with a view to improving their conditions of life; (c) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals; and(d) providing family and organisation support to them and their families including, but not limited to, outreach services, support with applications and befriending, signposting to and facilitating introductions between their families.
