TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORICAL AND MARITIME HERITAGE OF BLYTH ANDTHE COAST OF NORTHUMBERLAND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF:A) VOLUNTEERING, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN PARTICULAR BUTNOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE FIELDS OF SAIL TRAINING, MARITIME, ENGINEERING, RENEWABLE ENERGY, TOURISM,AND ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES;B) A HARBOUR SIDE BOAT BUILDING AND REPAIR FACILITY, AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES INCLUDING ITSMAINTENANCE, FOR THE PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND UTILITY2.
