THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE PROVISION AT THE COLLEGE OF CLASSICAL, LITERARY, HISTORICAL, MATHEMATIC, SCIENTIFIC, ENGINEERING, CULTURAL AND GENERAL EDUCATION OF THE HIGHEST CLASS FOR SCHOLARS AND PUPILS AND THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SUCH EDUCATION.2. THE PRESERVATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE WHOLE OR ANY PART OR PARTS OF THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS COMPRISING THE COLLEGE AND THE PRESERVATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF FURNITURE AND PICTURE AND CHATTELS OF ANY DESCRIPTION ORDINARILY KEPT AT THE COLLEGE AND THE DOING OF ALL SUCH OTHER THINGS AS SHALL BE NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE COLLEGE.3. THE USE AND OCCUPATION OF THE SAID BUILDINGS, GROUNDS AND CHATTELS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION AND THE PRACTICE OF WORSHIP IN SUCH MANNER AS SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE WORK OF THE COLLEGE AND WITH THE EXPRESSIONS OF RELIGIOUS INTENTION CONTAINED IN THE FOUNDERãS CHARTER.4. IN CONNECTION WITH OBJECT 1 AND 3, THE PROMOTION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CHORAL FOUNDATION OF THE COLLEGE.5. THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION (WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE RECREATIONAL CHARITIES ACT 1958 AND AS THEREIN LIMITED), IN SUCH MANNER AS SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE WORK OF THE COLLEGE AND SHALL INCREASE THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FLOWING THERE FROM.6. THE PURSUIT OF OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN SO FAR AS CONSISTENT WITH THE WORK OF THE COLLEGE AND LIABLE TO INCREASE THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FLOWING THERE FROM.
