IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS THE FRIENDS WILL; A) PROMOTE THETFORD'S LINK WITH DAD'S ARMY THROUGH OPERATING THE THETFORD DAD'S ARMY MUSEUM AND ORGANISING OTHER RELATED EVENTS AND MEMORIALS THAT FROM TIME TO TIME MAY ARISE.B) ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE ABOUT THE PROGRAMME, THETFORD AND THE AREA'S MILITARY CONNECTIONS THROUGH PROVIDING INFORMATION, DISPLAYS AND SOURCES OF REFERENCE.C) IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS, BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING POWERS ;(1) TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE FRIENDS AND TO INVITE AND RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ANY PERSON OR PERSONS WHATSOEVER BY WAY OF SUBSCRIPTION, DONATION OR OTHERWISE. (2) TO DO ALL SUCH OTHER LAWFUL THINGS CONSIDERED NECESSARY FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES.
