THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE TACS WALES SHALL BE:(I) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE RUNNING OF A SCHOOL AND EDUCATING IN THE TAMIL LANGUAGE, CULTURE, HISTORY, MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND OTHER FORMS OF TRADITIONAL ARTS.(II) TO ADVANCE THE ARTS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TAMIL ARTS AND CULTURE WITHIN THE TAMIL COMMUNITY, IN WALES AND THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM.(III) TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PLAYING OF HEALTHY SPORTS AND THROUGH RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES AND SO THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.(IV) TO PROMOTE RACIAL HARMONY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE TAMIL COMMUNITY AND DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS (AND THROUGH INTER-CULTURAL AND EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES); AND ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS WITHIN THE TAMIL COMMUNITY AND OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS.
