1.1 The Charity's objects are for the public benefit to advance the welfare and conservation of animals throughout the world by reducing commercial exploitation of animals, helping animals in crisis and distress, working to prevent cruelty to wild and domestic animals and educating policy makers and the public in respect of the foregoing in such ways as are exclusively charitable in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.1.2 Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
