THE SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF HEARING ANDBALANCE FUNCTION AND OTHER SCIENCES ALLIED THERETO, AND THE CLINICAL PRACTICE OF THE DIAGNOSIS,MANAGEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF HEARING AND BALANCE AND ALLIED DISORDERS, INCLUDING THEPREVENTION THEREOF, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY:3.1.1 EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE SCIENCE OF AUDIOLOGY THROUGH:(A) MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES; AND(B) PROMOTION OF GOOD RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF PEER-REVIEWED RESEARCH;3.1.2 PROMOTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF GOOD CLINICAL AUDIOLOGICAL PRACTICE AT ALL STAGESOF CARE THROUGH:(A) INTER-PROFESSIONAL PARTNERSHIPS OF PERSONS AND ORGANISATIONS; AND(B) APPROPRIATE TRANSFER OF BEST RESEARCH INTO AUDIOLOGY EDUCATION AND GOODCLINICAL PRACTICE;3.1.3 ADVANCING THE SCIENCE AND CLINICAL PRACTICE OF AUDIOLOGY BY SUCH OTHERCHARITABLE MEANS AS THE COUNCIL MEMBERS IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALLDETERMINE.
