THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY:-A. BUILDING POSITIVE AND MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE POLICE AND YOUNG PEOPLE BY TAKING GROUPS OF YOUTHS FROM THE LOCAL AREA TO AN OUTDOOR CENTRE;B. STRENGTHENING A POSITIVE POLICE PROFILE IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THESE RELATIONSHIPS;C. DELIVERING A STRUCTURED 3 YEAR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME THROUGH THE ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS ;D. BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM AND A SENSE OF PURPOSE THROUGH PERSONAL CHALLENGE IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT; AND,E. ASSISTING YOUNG PEOPLE TO LIVE AND WORK TOGETHER IN THE INTERESTS OF RAISING COMMUNITY SPIRIT
