THE AIM IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE FOR WALKERS, HORSE RIDERS, CYCLISTS AND THE DISABLED TO THE BENEFIT OF BOTH LOCAL INHABITANTS AND TOURISTS TO DORSET.SPECIFICALLY, TO ESTABLISH A ROUTE WITH BRIDLEWAY STATUS ALONG THE COURSE OF THE OLD SOMERSET AND DORSET RAILWAY LINE, INITIALLY FROM STALBRIDGE TO CORFE MULLEN AND EVENTUALLY TO CONNECT WITH THE CASTLEMAN TRAILWAY AT BROADSTONE. WHERE THE ORIGINAL ROUTE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE, TO ESTABLISH THE BEST POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE, ENSURING A CONTINUOUS ROUTE. (THIS ROUTE IS NOT TO BE FOR USE BY MOTORISED VEHICLES OTHER THAN ELECTRIC CYCLES, DISABILITY WHEELCHAIRS AND AUTHORISED VEHICLES (E.G.
