PROVIDING A LOCAL NETWORK GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES AND ENABLES MEMBERS OF THE SOMALI COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY. 2.INCREASING, OR CO-ORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE SOMALI COMMUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO ENABLE THOSE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THAT COMMUNITY. 3. PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO SUPPORT AND ENABLE PARENTS TO MAXIMISE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR CHILDREN. 4.PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, FORUMS, ADVOCACY AND GENERAL SUPPORT. (B)THE RELIEF OF NEED HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONG PEOPLE LIVING IN COUNTRIES IN THE HORN OF AFRICA AND PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE SOMALI INHABITED REGIONS OF KENYA, ETHIOPIA AND SOMALIA.
