3.1 The objects of the Charity (Objects) are the relief of ill-health (whether mental and / or physical) and the relief of need amongst:3.1.1 serving and former members of the Armed Forces, and the wider Armed Forces community;3.1.2 the wider Armed Forces community includes service leavers, reservists, veterans, and their immediate families (spouses, partners and dependants) as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion determine;3.1.3 'the relief of need' refers to financial, physical, health, psychological, practical or other significant need arising from the transition from service in the Armed Forces to civilian life, by means of provision of mentoring, services, facilities and equipment to support their treatment, rehabilitation, resettlement, education, training and employment.
