TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN BRIDGEND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(I)ELIMINATING DISCRIMINATION TOWARDS DISABLED PEOPLE;(II ADVANCING EDUCATION IN DISABILITY EQUALITY;(III)DEVELOPING THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY,AND HELP MEET,THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.(IV)THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST DISABLED PEOPLE IN BRIDGEND WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY,OR PARTS OF SOCIETY,AS A RESULT OF BEING DISABLED BY:1.PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO SUPPORT AND ENABLE DISABLED PEOPLE TO MAXIMISE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEMSELVES;2.RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING DISABLED PEOPLE,BOTH GENERALLY AND IN RELATION TO THEIR SOCIAL EXCLUSION;3.PROVIDING WORKSHOPS,FORUMS,ADVICE AND GENERAL SUPPORT.4. INCREASING,OR CO-ORDINATING,OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PEOPLE TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS,TO ENABLE THOSE SERVICE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF DISABLE PEOPLE.
