To promote benefit for the residents of Barnes and Mortlake without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or other opinions, by fostering a sense of community and citizenship in bringing together the residents, the local authority and voluntary groups in a common effort: (1) The advancement of civic and community development, focusing on the community as a whole rather than the individual.(2) The promotion of urban and rural regeneration, ensuring character and amenities for the public benefit are upheld and protected.(3) The promotion of community capacity building involves strengthening the abilities, skills, and resources of our community, to address challenges for the benefit of residents of Barnes and Mortlake
