THE PROMOTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE MUSICAL AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES BY ANY CHARITABLE MEANS, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR BURSARIES FOR CHORISTERS, PROBATIONERS, SINGING BOYS OR MEN ASSOCIATED OR CONNECTED WITH THE CHOIR OF THE SAID CATHEDRAL CHURCH SO AS TO DEVELOP EXPAND AND ENHANCE THE STANDARD OF AND THE MUSIC OF THE CHOIR IN DIVINE SERVICE AND IN THE RELIGIOUS MINISTRATIONS OF THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH ACCORDING TO THE RITES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AS BY LAW ESTABLISHED AND SO AS TO GIVE THE CHORISTERS AND OTHERS THE BEST POSSIBLE MUSICAL AND GENERAL EDUCATION.3. THE RESTORATION, IMPROVEMENT, DEVELOPMENT, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF OTHER BUILDINGS OR PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE DEAN AND CHAPTER OR OF WHICH THE DEAN AND CHAPTER MAY BE CUSTODIANS FROM TIME TO TIME, INCLUDING THE EXTENSION AND ENLARGEMENT OF ANY BUILDING OR PROPERTY AS AFORESAID OUTSIDE THE PRESENT CONFINES THEREOF.4. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECTS AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AS ARE NORMALLY UNDERTAKEN BY THE DEAN AND CHAPTER BY THE APPICATION OF FUNDS DISPOSABLE BY THEM FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
