THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT 3.1 TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS BY: SEEKING TO BUILD THE CAPACITY OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY THROUGH THE FACILITATION OF NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND THE AWARENESS OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECTS THAT SUPPORTS THOSE IN CHARITABLE NEED; PROMOTING THE EFFECTIVE USE OF THEIR RESOURCES; AND THE PROVISION OF GRANT FUNDING TO FACILITATE CHURCHES AND CHARITIES IN EFFECTING COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION. 3.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT. 3.3. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005.
