THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO:FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE PLAYING OF BRASS AND PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS AND THE APPRECIATION OF BRASS BAND MUSIC AMONGST MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN BLEWBURY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA, YOUNG OR OLD AND OF EITHER GENDER, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY:A) PROVIDING AFFORDABLE EDUCATION, PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES AND MUSICAL DIRECTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANYONE INTERESTED IN PLAYING A BRASS OR PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT;B) PROVIDING MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY THE PLAYING OF BRASS BAND MUSIC AS AND WHEN SUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES ARISE;C) PROVIDING, FOR A REASONABLE RENTAL FEE, A FULL RANGE OF BRASS AND PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS TO BE PLAYED WITH THE BAND, FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS WITHOUT THEIR OWN INSTRUMENTS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
