3. ObjectsThe objects of the CIO are(a) To enhance the development and education and promote support for children under the age of 5 who have an additional need e.g. disability, illness. Or where the family has an additional need and requires support due to disability, illness, hardship, involvement of social care. This list is not exhaustive.(i) Offering professional childcare with qualified staff and offering support to families.(ii) Continuous staff development to ensure they are knowledgeable and that the needs of the children are met.(iii) Working alongside health care professionals and other professionals who are involved with the individual child.
