THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN IN TANZANIA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING: AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY LEVEL EDUCATION INSTITUTION; PROVIDING GRANTS NECESSARY TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO EDUCATION, SUCH AS UNIFORMS, FURTHER TUITION AND SCHOOL SANITATION FACILITIES.TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF YOUNG WOMEN THROUGH THE PROVISION OF BUSINESS SKILLS PROGRAMMES.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
