FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE DEARNE VALLEY COMMUNITIES IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY PROVIDING TRAINING AND RETRAINING AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE;3. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE DEARNE VALLEY COMMUNITIES THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID COMMUNITIES.WHERE DEARNE VALLEY COMMUNITIES SHALL MEAN THE PEOPLE LIVING AND/OR WORKING IN THE WARDS OF DEARNE NORTH AND DEARNE SOUTH INCLUDING GOLDTHORPE, BOLTON UPON DEARNE, THURNSCOE, DARFIELD, GREAT HOUGHTON, WOMBWELL, WATH UPON DEARNE, SWINTON, KILNHURST, MEXBOROUGH, DENABY MAIN, CONISBROUGH, MIDDLECLIFFE, AND ADWICK UPON DEARNE.
