OBJECTSThe company is set up to operate as a Community Land Trust as defined in section 79 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 on a not for profit basis for the public benefit in the Dorset Parishes of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Wootten Fitzpaine, and in the Devon Parish of Uplyme (the "area of benefit”) and the Company's objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:5.1 the relief of financial hardship by the provision of affordable housing (upon terms appropriate to their means) together with associated amenities, facilities and infrastructure;5.2 the improvement, maintenance or provision of public amenities;5.3 the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents of the area of benefit; and5.4 the provision for the aged, disabled or chronically sick persons in need thereof, of houses or hostels specially designed or adapted to meet their needs.
