6.1 THE CHARITY'S OBJECT ("THE OBJECT") WHICH IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF DOCTRINE AS SET OUT IN CLAUSE 8 HEREIN AS ADOPTED BY THE TRUSTEES AND AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME BY THE PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION AND ASSISTED LIVING FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE WITHIN ENGLAND AND WALES AND TO ANY OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECTIVE THAT IS NOT INCONSISTENT WITH THAT PURPOSE. 6.2 THE OBJECT IS TO BE CARRIED OUT IS AN EXPRESSION OF THE BELIEFS SET OUT IN CLAUSE 8 HEREIN.
