THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE PENTRICH REVOLUTION OF 1817 IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY:(A) RAISING AWARENESS OF THE EVENT AND ITS POSITION IN LOCAL, REGIONAL, CONSTITUTIONAL AND NATIONAL 19TH CENTURY HISTORY;(B) ORGANISING ACADEMIC CONFERENCES; (C) THE AID, ESTABLISHMENT, FUNDING, OR SPONSORSHIP OF BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS TO ANY PERSON OR PERSONS, INSTITUTION, ASSOCIATION OR CORPORATE BODY FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING UNDERSTANDING OF THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY;(D) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A PERMANENT EXHIBITION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AT DERBY MUSEUM OR ANOTHER SUITABLE LOCATION;(E) ENHANCING AND EXTENDING EXISTING DISPLAY MATERIAL IN ORDER TO PRODUCE QUALITY FIXED AND MOBILE DISPLAYS;(F) DEVISING A SERIES OF "REVOLUTION" WALKS ALONG THE ROUTE OF THE ORIGINAL MARCH TO INCLUDE HIGH QUALITY WRITTEN ?TRAILS? TO SUPPORT WALKERS;(G) CREATING PERMANENT "INFORMATION SITE" BOARDS ALONG THE ROUTE;(H) ORGANISING EXHIBITIONS OF MATERIAL IN THE LOCALITY OF THE ROUTE AND ELSEWHERE;(I) COMMISSIONING PLAYS, PERFORMANCES AND OTHER DRAMATIC PRESENTATIONS OF THE EVENTS SURROUNDING THE REVOLUTION.
