Charitable objects
The objects of the World Wars Muslim Memorial Trust shall be to promote good citizenship amongst the public and to promote the efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Crown with these goals:a) to design, commission and erect a memorial to honour the many Muslims who came out from the Indian Subcontinent and elsewhere to serve with British & Commonwealth forces through the two World Wars and in subsequent conflicts or who have since served in the Armed Forces of the Crown;b) to locate a memorial at a place where public access is freely available;c) to make arrangements for securing the long-term maintenance of such memorial;d) to raise awareness of the public to better understand the contribution of Muslims in the two World Wars and to recognise their sacrifices, and of those who continue to serve in the Armed Forces of the Crown.
