THIS CONSERVATION IS ACHIEVED BY WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH TRUSTED LOCAL ORGANISATIONS AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES TO PLACE THREATENED AREAS UNDER PERMANENT PROTECTION, EITHER THROUGH DESIGNATION AS LEGALLY PROTECTED AREAS, INDIGENOUS LAND TITLING OR LAND PURCHASE.2) TO ADVANCE THE AWARENESS AND EDUCATION OF PEOPLE IN THE UK CONCERNING THE ECOLOGICAL VALUE OF RAINFORESTS AND OTHER TROPICAL ECOSYSTEMS, AND THE NECESSITY FOR THEIR CONSERVATION TO SAVE ENDANGERED SPECIES, SUPPORT INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES AND MITIGATE CLIMATE CHANGE.
