TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF LEICESTER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE LIFE CHANCES OF THE SAID INHABITANTS;III. PROVIDING A LOCAL CRICKET AND SOCIAL CLUB THAT ENCOURAGES AND ENABLES MEMBERS OF THE BME COMMUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITHIN CIVIL SOCIETY.2. INCREASING, OR CO-ORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE BME COMMUNITIES TO ENGAGE MORE ACTIVELY IN RECREATIONAL PURSUITS AND TO BE INSPIRED AND MOTIVATED TO PERSIST IN THESE ENDEAVOURS.
