BY DEVELOPING TOOLS AND UNDERTAKING CAPACITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES TO ENABLE RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS TO UNDERTAKESUCH MONITORING AND DATA COLLECTION,3. BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC, DECISION MAKERS, POLICY MAKERS, RESEARCHERS, CIVIL SOCIETY AND THE NATIONAL ANDINTERNATIONAL MEDIA ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND DERIVED HUMANITARIAN CONSEQUENCES OF ARMED CONFLICTS ANDMILITARY ACTIVITIES,4. CONTRIBUTING TO THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF LEGISLATION AND COMMENTING ON PROPOSED LEGISLATION.5. BY UNDERTAKING RELEVANT ACTIVITIES IN THESE FIELDS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS SHARING A SIMILARPURPOSE, WHERE THE TRUSTEES HAVE DETERMINED THAT THIS IS IN KEEPING WITH THE CIO’S OBJECTS.IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER TO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL ACTIVITYPROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PROPOSED ACTIVITIES WILL FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY TO ANEXTENT JUSTIFIED BY THE RESOURCES COMMITTED AND THE ACTIVITY IS NOT THE DOMINANT MEANS BY WHICH THE CHARITYCARRIED OUT ITS OBJECTS.
