THESE SERVICES ARE PARTICULARLY INTENDED FOR THE ELDERLY, INFIRM AND ISOLATED, AND SPECIFICALLY COMPRISE:A) TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE RIVERSIDE SURGERY AND HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS IN THE LOCALITY OF TORBAY, EXETER, NEWTON ABBOT AND TOTNES, TOGETHER WITH APPOINTMENTS WITH OTHER HEALTHCARE FACILITIES SUCH AS DENTAL SURGERIES, OPTICIANS, PODIATRY IN THE SAME AREAS. PATIENTS AND ANY MOBILITY AIDS THEY MAY REQUIRE MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL IN AN ORDINARY CAR WHICH HAS NOT BEEN SPECIALLY ADAPTED, AND BE ABLE TO ENTER AND LEAVE THE CAR UNASSISTED.B) COLLECTION OF AND DELIVERY OF PRESCRIPTIONS AND MEDICATION FOR THOSE PATIENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO ACCESS RIVERSIDE SURGERY AND BOVEY TRACEY PHARMACY EASILY.
