THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, INCHILDREN’S PLAY AND PLAYWORK, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY (I) PROVIDINGINFORMATION, (II) RAISING AWARENESS, (III) FACILITATING DISCOURSE (IV) CARRYING OUT RESEARCHAND (V) BUILDING CAPACITY.NOTESFOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘CHILDREN’S PLAY’ MEANS THE FREELY CHOSENPROCESS, PERSONALLY DIRECTED AND INTRINSICALLY MOTIVATED BY CHILDREN ANDYOUNG PEOPLE.
