THE OBJECT OF THE CIO WILL BE CONCERNED WITH PROVIDING RELIEF IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN, WHO ARE AT THE END OF THEIR LIFE, BY PROVIDING BOXES OF FOOD AND TOILETRIES DELIVERED TO THEIR PLACE OF RESIDENCE. THE PROVISIONS WILL BE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED BY NHS TRUSTS THROUGH THEIR PALLIATIVE CARE TEAMS. FAMILIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE IN RECEIPT OF END OF LIFE CARE FOR THEIR CHILD AT HOME, IN A HOSPICE ENVIRONMENT OR IN HOSPITAL TO BENEFIT FROM THE CIOTHERE WILL BE NO CHARGE MADE TO THE AFFECTED FAMILIES.
