TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, ABANDONMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS. 3. THE MAIN GEOGRAPHICAL AREA OF FOCUS FOR THE OBJECTS IS THE SOUTH WEST REGION OF TURKEY FOR ANIMALS THAT A) CANNOT BE PUT BACK ONTO THE STREETS DUE TO VARIOUS REASONS; B) ARE IN POUNDS AND SHELTERS AND AT RISK OF DEATH; C) HAVE BEEN ABANDONED BY THEIR OWNERS; AND D) ARE STREET ANIMALS THAT REQUIRE IMMEDIATE HELP.
