THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO BEAUTIFY AND ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE OF THE FABRIC AND GROUNDS OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST, FINDON IN THE DIOCESE OF CHICHESTER (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CHURCH") AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THIS ANCIENT BUILDING THROUGH RAISING OF FUNDS TO BE USED AS OUTLINED BELOW IN PROJECTS WHICH HAVE RECEIVED THE NECESSARY APPROVAL.
