TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE AFFECTED BY TOURETTES SYNDROME AND TIC DISORDERS IN HULL AND YORKSHIRE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF THEIR MEDICAL CONDITION BY; - PROVIDING A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT TO MEET OTHER PEOPLE AFFECTED BY TOURETTES SYNDROME; - RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT PEOPLE AFFECTED BY TOURETTES SYNDROME; AND - PROVIDING AWARENESS TALKS IN SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND WORK PLACES. "TOURETTES SYNDROME" IS DEFINED AS “AN INHERITED DISORDER OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, CHARACTERIZED BY A VARIABLE EXPRESSION OF UNWANTED MOVEMENTS AND NOISES (TICS).
