(A) TO RELIEVE THE NEED AND ASSIST IN THE CARE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH A MEMBER WITHDOWNÆS SYNDROME BY THE PROVISION OF REGULAR GROUP SUPPORT MEETINGS, 1:1 SUPPORT, GUIDANCE AND SIGN POSTING WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CREATING STRONG SUPPORT NETWORKS AND IMPROVING THE WELL BEING OF THOSE WITH DOWNÆS SYNDROME AND THEIR CARE GIVERS.(B) TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR MEMBERS WITH DOWNÆS SYNDROME AND THEIR CARE GIVERS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION AND PREVENT ISOLATION.(C) TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF DOWNÆS SYNDROME AND THE ISSUES AFFECTING MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.(D) TO FACILITATE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO EMPOWER CARE GIVERS TO HAVE THE TOOLS AND SKILLS NEEDED TO ENRICH OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILYÆS LIVES.(E) TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT FOR THE SIBLINGS OF OUR MEMBERS.
