3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:(A) MINIMISING THE DIFFERENCES IN EXPERIENCES FOR LGBTQ PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WITHIN THE WIDER LGBTQ COMMUNITY; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF THE CHALLENGES OF THE EXPERIENCES OF LGBTQ PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES; (C) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING LGBTQ AND DISABLED; (D) COMMISSIONING OR CONDUCTING RESEARCH TO JUSTIFY THE PRIORITISATION OF ISSUES SURROUNDING LGBTQ PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES; AND(E) HIGHLIGHTING AND PROFILING SPACES THAT ARE INCLUSIVE TO DIFFERENT DISABILITIES.
