THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON THE ISSUE OF FORCED MARRIAGE AND HONOUR BASED ABUSE THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH WEST OF ENGLAND, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(A) DELIVERING TRAINING AND TALKS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND TO PROFESSIONAL BODIES; AND(B) PROVIDING TRAINING TO A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD TO ORGANISATIONS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES THAT FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY.2) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM, OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF, FORCED MARRIAGE AND HONOUR BASED ABUSE, IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO APPROPRIATE SUPPORT AND SERVICES AND BY CREATING A MULTI-AGENCY NETWORK OF AVAILABLE SERVICES TO INCREASE ACCESS FOR THOSE PEOPLE.
