THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC:1. TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, INCLUDING (BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION) BY OBTAINING REDRESS FOR AND RELIEVING NEED AMONG THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE, RAISING AWARENESS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES, PROMOTING PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND ELIMINATING INFRINGEMENTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS; 3. TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BECAUSE OF ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE;4. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE LAW, PRACTICE AND ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN CONNECTION WITH THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES; AND5. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE LAW, PRACTICE AND ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN CONNECTION WITH THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES.
