BY PROVIDING A SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL GROUP FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY WHICH MEETS EACH WEEK TO EXCHANGE IDEAS, TAKE PART IN VARIOUS GROUP AND SOLO ACTIVITIES AND INTERACT WITH PEOPLE AND PROFESSIONALS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE ORGANISATION THAT VISIT AND TAKE PART IN GROUP ACTIVITIES;2.BY PROVIDING ORGANISED EXCURSIONS, VISITS TO ENTERTAINMENT VENUES AND OTHER SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WHICH PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MEMBERS AND THE WIDER PUBLIC TO PARTICIPATE AND INTERACT TOGETHER, SO AS TO PROMOTE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE OF INTERACTION WITH EACH OTHER AND FOSTERING GOOD RELATIONS BOTH WAYS;3.BY CO-ORDINATING AND INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO ENGAGE WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY AND INCREASE AWARENESS OF DISABLED PEOPLE'S RIGHTS AND ISSUES TO ENABLE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER SUIT THE DISABLED COMMUNITY;"LEARNING DISABILITY" MEANS ANY DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY OF THE MIND AND ANY ASSOCIATED CONDITION, HOWSOEVER CAUSED, WHETHER MILD, MODERATE OR SEVERE.
