THE FOUNDATION’S OBJECTS ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS; AND (2) TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR POVERTY.THE TRUSTEES MUST GIVE PRIORITY TO THE FOLLOWING BENEFICIARIES:I. FIRSTLY, TO PERSONS WHO ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO ARE ATTENDING OR HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME ATTENDED AS PUPILS OF HINCHINGBROOK SCHOOL; ANDII. SECONDLY, TO STUDENTS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE EDUCATED AT SCHOOLS OR FURTHER EDUCATION COLLEGES IN THE HUNTINGDON AREA. THE FOUNDATION’S OBJECTS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY:A) PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION (NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT HINCHINGBROOKE SCHOOL;B) PROVIDING GRANTS AND AWARDS TO BENEFICIARIES IN PRIORITY ORDER;C) PROVIDING GRANTS TO SUCH SCHOOLS TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY PUBLIC FUNDING FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL WITH THE PROVISO THAT NOT MORE THAN ONE THIRD WILL BE AVAILABLE TO HINCHINGBROOKE SCHOOL;D) PROVIDING AN ANNUAL GRANT TO THE ST. JOHN’S ALMSHOUSE CHARITY IN HUNTINGDON;E) PROVIDING GRANTS TO LOCAL ORGANISATIONS WHO WORK FOR AND WITH THE BENEFICIARIES IN PRIORITY ORDER; ANDF) PROVIDING OTHER GRANTS AND AWARDS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME TO BENEFICIARIES IN PRIORITY ORDER.
