TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AMONGST PARENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES RESIDENT IN BARNSLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF A CHILD THROUGH MISCARRIAGE, STILLBIRTH, NEONATAL DEATH, SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME, ILLNESS, INFECTION, ACCIDENT, OR TERMINAL ILLNESS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:-(A) PROVIDING SUPPORT GROUPS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO MEET OTHERS IN THEIR SITUATION.(B) RAISING AWARENESS OF BABY AND CHILDLOSS IN THE LOCAL AREA.(C) SUPPORTING NEWLY BEREAVED PARENTS BY THE PROVISION OF KEEPSAKES AND PROVIDING THEM WITH THE FIRST CONTACT WITH BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT.(D) PROVIDING PRACTICAL ADVICE AND INFORMATION ABOUT ALL OF THE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THEM.
