THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY OF TREATMENT OF WOMEN HOMEWORKERS AND THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION BY: A. BUILDING AN EVIDENCE BASE OF WORKING CONDITIONS TO INFORM AND STRENGTH THE RIGHTS OF SUCH WORKERS; B. THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF THE SITUATION OF POOR HOMEWORKERS; C. INCREASING THE CO-ORDINATION OF GROUPS WORKING WITH POOR HOMEWORKERS; D. ENGAGING WITH COMPANIES TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO RECOGNISE POOR HOMEWORKERS’ CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR SUPPLY CHAIN, AND THEN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR, AND ACTION TO IMPROVE THEIR WORKING CONDITIONS; AND E. COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND BUILD LINKS BETWEEN HOMEWORKERS AND OTHER PRECARIOUS WOMEN WORKERS EXPERIENCING POVERTY.
