1. THE RELIEF AND PREVENTION OF POVERTY OF POOR HOMEBASED WORKERS (HOMEWORKERS), AND OTHER WOMEN WORKERS FACING PRECARIOUS OR INFORMAL WORKING CONDITIONS. 2. THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY OF TREATMENT OF WOMEN HOMEWORKERS AND THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION BY: A. BUILDING AN EVIDENCE BASE OF WORKING CONDITIONS TO INFORM AND STRENGTH THE RIGHTS OF SUCH WORKERS; B. THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF THE SITUATION OF POOR HOMEWORKERS; C. INCREASING THE CO-ORDINATION OF GROUPS WORKING WITH POOR HOMEWORKERS; D. ENGAGING WITH COMPANIES TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO RECOGNISE POOR HOMEWORKERS’ CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR SUPPLY CHAIN, AND THEN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR, AND ACTION TO IMPROVE THEIR WORKING CONDITIONS; AND E. COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND BUILD LINKS BETWEEN HOMEWORKERS AND OTHER PRECARIOUS WOMEN WORKERS EXPERIENCING POVERTY.
