Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THECROWN(BOTH THOSE SERVING IN ACTIVE DUTY, AND THOSE WHO HAVE RETIRED). THE WILL BE ACHIEVED, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:• ENCOURAGING ‘ESPRIT DE CORPS’ (THE LOYALTY OF BENEFICIARIES TO THE UNIT TO WHICH HE OR SHEBELONGS AND RECOGNITION OF THE HONOUR OF THE UNIT).• PROVIDING SUPPORT TO UNITS AND ENABLING SERVING AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMEDFORCES TO SOCIALISE AND COMMUNICATE TOGETHER (WHEREVER THEY MAY CURRENTLY BE SERVING OR LIVING; THIS INCLUDES THOSE HAVE RETIRED FROM MILITARY SERVICE) IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD.
