TO SAFEGUARD THE PROPERTIES AND INTERESTS OF THE UNION AND ITS CHURCHES, AND TO CONSIDER THE MOST APPROPRIATE MEANS TO NURTURE THESE RESOURCES FOR THE GOOD OF THE UNION, THE CHURCHES AND THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST;5.7. TO OBTAIN AND DISSEMINATE ACCURATE INFORMATION RESPECTING THE ORGANISATIONS, LABOURS AND SUFFERINGS OF BAPTISTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD; AND5.8 TO CONFER AND CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES AS OCCASION MAY REQUIRE.
