TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THOSE SUFFERING LONG-TERM OR LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES AND / OR DISABILITIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO COVER THE COSTS OF SPECIALIST TREATMENT OR EQUIPMENT AND SUCH OTHER ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE.
