THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN ARTS AND CULTURE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY:(1) GATHERING EVIDENCE AND DATA ON THE VALUE OF ARTS AND CULTURAL EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE;(2) USING DATA TO PROVIDE AN EVIDENCE-BASED NARRATIVE DEMONSTRATING THE WAYS IN WHICH AN ARTS AND CULTURAL EDUCATION PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH SKILLS FOR LIFE;(3) COLLABORATING WITH RELEVANT PARTIES TO PROMOTE A RIGHT TO ARTS AND CULTURE FOR EVERY CHILD, AND TO ENCOURAGE POLICY AND PRACTICE WORK TO INCREASE THE DELIVERY OF ARTS AND CULTURAL EDUCATION; AND(4) GATHERING AND SHARING INSIGHT INTO THE EDUCATION, CULTURAL, SOCIAL POLICY AND PRACTICE LANDSCAPE TO SUPPORT THE CULTURAL LEARNING WORKFORCE IN ACTIVE CASE-MAKING AND PRACTICE.
