THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF ADULTS, YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF CHALLENGING AND REWARDING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS AT PEAT RIGG OUTDOOR CENTRE IN THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK DESIGNED TO FACILITATE THE LEARNING OF NEW SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.(2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF ADULTS, YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO CONSERVATION, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY IN AND AROUND THE AREA KNOWN AS PEAT RIGG OUTDOOR CENTRE IN THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK.(3) TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROMOTING BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY IN AND AROUND THE AREA KNOWN AS PEAT RIGG OUTDOOR CENTRE IN THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK THROUGH ECOLOGICAL INVESTMENT IN THE AREA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PLANTING OF APPROPRIATE TREES, HEDGEROWS AND MEADOWS TO PROVIDE NATURAL HABITAT ENHANCEMENT FOR THREATENED SPECIES OF BIRDS AND ENCOURAGING STRUCTURAL AND SPECIES DIVERSITY.
